The soundtrack is quite atmospheric, mixing in environmental sounds with the melody.
Cave Dweller Concert for instance mixes the sound of water droplet echoing, with tense percussion and a flute-sounding synth. This cements the atmosphere of a deep echoing cave, especially utilizng lower tones to describe its vastness.
Simian Segue is the level select/menu screen and quite a banger.
Many of the tracks capture the theme of jungle well, by using traditional jungle or african sounding drums:
Bonus Room Blitz is a quirky and happy short little tune, but still one of the most iconic from this game.
Aquatic Ambiance is legendary within the gaming community. I'll just simply call it what it is: a masterpiece. The deep sounding synths fading in and out, the light echoing piano sounds combined with the deep percussive arrangement gives a sense of calm and tranquility to the level. It just has so many fun elements to it, the bubbling or spiraling motif, the melancolic melody, subtle percussion and distorted and echoed "bubbly" sounds mimicing how sounds distort under water work so well together. However I think the main thing is just how "dynamic" the composition is; it varies what instruments are being used throughout the whole track, making it a timeless piece of music.
Bad Boss Boogie is a tense boss theme with attacking percussion, that still manages to retain the game's jungle feel using a lighter percussive backdrop for certain parts.
Mine Cart Madness and Life in the Mines convey the vibe of a cave very well. The latter also has light flutes "responding" to each other throughout the composition.
I don't remember much of the rest of the soundtrack, maybe I didn't play the game that far.
Funky's Fugue sounds funky I guess, utilizing a heavy industrial/mechanic sounding synth which I find similar to the one from Metallic Mario
Snowy/Icy themes:
Gang-Plank Galleon is another quite memorable track from this game, which I've heard on many occasions, probably mostly playing several Super Smash Bros. titles:
An arranged version of Gang-Plank Galleon's self-titled music is featured as a track in Super Smash Bros. Brawl where it plays on the Rumble Falls stage, in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on the Kongo Jungle stage, and in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on any Donkey Kong stage, under the name "King K. Rool / Ship Deck 2." A new arrangement is also featured in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate under the original music title. In addition, King K. Rool's victory theme is an excerpt of Gang-Plank Galleon's music.

The Credits Concerto is a nice nostalgic ending theme.
