Abandoned Forest sounds really epic and conveys that time is of the essence. The bass drums, choir-like voices and the ancient sounding flute gives the track a sense of mysticism. This fits the supernatural forces at play during the scene it plays, which is the first door in the abandoned resort. I think it's a nice instrumental track to have on in the background when working :).
Cat Chase is a jazzy chase theme.
Time for two is calm and serene, utilizing only a piano and some light string instruments in the background.
Dreaming on Ferris Wheel uses the same ticking beat as many of the other tracks to convey that time is running out. Afer a while heavy drums, sprinting violins and deeper string instruments join in to bring up the intensity towards a climax. Then towards the second climax it brings in the same choir-like voices as Abandoned Forest and triumphant drums.
Later the Shinkansen Super Express brings a reprieve in the seriousness, with its upbeat, happy and floating mood.
Significant Precursor uses what I think is a Shakuhachi (Japanese Bamboo Flute) to convey the feeling of something supernatural. In fact it seems that they use of this instrument at the start of many of these tracks to signify that something supernatural is afoot.
Sky Over Tokyo starts with foreboding voices before the whole choir jumps for a more ethereal feel. The track's use of mostly acapella voices with minimal use of other instruments really cements the heavenly and spiritual vibe.
Suzume's Departure uses the same motif as the main theme Suzume towards the end. However in this track the vocals are somewhat hummed instead of sung (ru ru rurururu ru ruru ru rururu ru).
Suzume (Main Theme) is a good trailer theme, I won't eloberate further :).
